GUARDIANSHIP OF MINORS

Under certain circumstances, the Probate Courts of Connecticut are given the responsibility for such appointments and removals. Court-appointed guardians are responsible to the court for protecting the interests of such minors.
This booklet answers some of the questions regarding the procedures, roles, and responsibilities of the Probate Court when it becomes necessary to appoint or remove a guardian of the person or estate of the minor.and the guardian whom the Court appoints.
